Spec Parts Explained
As you will see below, this is a list of parts and specs of the bike that can be explained to help you gain better understanding to what this bike has that makes it so special.
Chromoly Material
Chromoly (Cromo) is used by almost every professional bmx rider of today, this is because it is a high grade of steel that is not only stronger, but also allot lighter too. This sort of material is much more guaranteed against bends or breaks than any other style of material you will find in the complete bike market.
Dual Wall Rims
Every top end bike has dual wall rims, this means that the spoke heads don’t poke out and cause punctures as a second wall goes over the top allowing for a vast improvement to the wheels strength . If you get allot of pinch flats then this will also help against that. Any pro will tell you, dual wall is the only way to go.
3 Piece Cranks
3 piece cranks are excellent because they are not only far lighter than the one piece but they are easier to assemble and last allot longer. These have many advantages such as ease of maintenance due to simple Allen key fittings being used, ease of parts sourcing if you were to ever break any part of these rather than having to replace the whole lot and they look super smart too!
Micro Gearing
Micro gearing is great, this is because by using a special ‘cassette’ Hub on the rear wheel you can have a smaller chain wheel on the back and that allows for an even smaller one on the front, You will still have all the same pedaling efficiency but you will gain lots of improvement for your bikes performance such as weight loss due to smaller parts and a shorter chain, Smoother running because cassette hubs are more efficient, and this even helps prevent damage to your bike as there is no large chain ring to bash on foreign objects anymore…
